Theme: After seemingly coming out of nowhere, Elijah immediately starts making waves in the Kingdom with a prophetic word of famine, hiding in exile, seeing miracles and raising a widow’s son from the dead. With the evil King wanting him dead, Elijah runs into the faithful Obadiah and wants Obadiah to send the king a message that Obadiah fear could cost him his life, but Elijah instructs him to anyway. In all of this, Elijah’s faith is his driving force in his life, which leads to a faith that endures.
