Theme: We can be a Gaius and Demetrius, who set an example for the church and for the world by the faithfulness and love they show, or we can be a Diotrephes whose pride leads him to do things his own way rather than submitting himself to God’s authority. In this last, personal letter we see from John, we see his personal touch that he gives not just to the capital “c” Church, but to specific fellow Christians. In this concluding message, we’ll have a call to be Christians who set the example for the world but also have a personal walk with others.
