Summary: As Paul begins this section of Ephesians, the groundwork he lays is one of unity among God’s people. Knowing this was also the focus of Jesus’ final prayer, we can see that God has a great desire for his people to be unified. And in a world where the church will only increasingly be criticized and attacked, it is paramount we remain one and unified in him.
