Theme: Jesus gave hard teachings throughout his entire life, but when he calls people to eat his flesh and drink his blood, we see people get disgusted, take offense, and stop following him, but Jesus doesn’t back down from his teaching. He knows that to spiritually eat his body is to bring his life into your own, his eternal life. This is how closely we are to be with Jesus, that we are one in him!
