Theme: In a world where we know the names of criminals, but not heroes; where evil is newsworthy, but kindness is never highlighted; and where you are judged if you don’t immediately jump on the cultural bandwagons, it’s easy to feel like we should be envious of those who do evil, and we should never question what’s popular. The biblical call is for a discerning mind for the faithful as they engage the world; that wisdom takes time, but we are better when we let wisdom build our lives.
