Pray With Us
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Billy & Erica Tjernlund
Central Missionary Clearinghouse
Billy and his wife are raising their three children—Evaleigh, Sevland, and Westley—while serving the people of Alaska with a heart for the Gospel. Their calling is to see churches planted for and by Alaska Native people, bringing lasting, locally led Gospel presence to communities that have long been unreached.
Today, nearly 80% of Alaska’s more than 200 villages have no Gospel witness, many of them accessible only by air. To help meet this need, Billy serves through aviation and ministry leadership across the state. He pilots two airplanes to provide essential flights for multiple ministries, serves on the Board of Directors for Kokrine Hills Bible Camp, and acts as an aviation advisor for Soaring For Christ. He also teaches and preaches in local churches and hosts the Tell Your Story Alaska podcast, highlighting how God is at work in remote communities.
As part of this mission, Billy is launching Ends of the Earth Aviation LLC, a business platform designed to support and sustain Gospel ministry to Alaska’s most isolated villages—helping take the hope of Christ to the ends of the earth.

Today's New or Time-Sensitive Update
Bill Hop
June 23 Update
Bill will be having surgery Thursday for his broken neck, a C1/C2 fusion. Prayers for successful surgery.
(Original Request - June 22)
Be in prayer for Bill Hop, who runs our Visitation Team, his wife Muriel just informed us that he lost consciousness while driving alone and has been in ER since 10am getting "stiched up". Muriel says Head injury, 2 broken bones in his neck, and multiple broken bones on right side of body head to toe. Muriel has family supporting her as she waits at Butterworth but pray for healing now and for the possible long road of recovery they have ahead of them.
Praying for the Peace Church body
Peace Church Praying Community, here is a new section, to be praying for the whole church community where we will focus on one key aspect of who God has called us to be as a church. This week we want to remind you of:
Peace Church’s Vision: Discipleship
Our Church Vision is to see the Gospel embraced and passed on for generations of Kingdom impact. In a word, Discipleship. What better week to talk about this than VBS week! Making disciples is every church’s calling because it is the great commission, it is at the heart of what we do. Not just sharing the good news with others but helping each other grow into mature followers of Jesus.
This starts in the home, with our children. It should also occur at our workplace and on the weekend with friends, and it will definitely happen Monday through Thursday each evening this week.
Pray for VBS but also pray for the Holy Spirit to help us to take the initiative and point people to Jesus wherever we are, to help them think and live according to His Word.

Praises
Darlene and Ernie DeGroote
June 18
We want to thank everyone who held our sweet 7 yr old great granddaughter, Hadley in your prayers yesterday. The Lord answered those prayers and everything is repaired. It was much worse than they had anticipated as she had two holes in her heart that were repaired, instead of one, and they said there was a 95% chance that she would’ve had a heart attack or a stroke. All praise to our powerful God who loves and cares and answers. Prayers. Sincerely, Darlene and Ernie DeGroote.
Update from Hayley's father:
June 9
The best news is - Hayley is off the ventilator and there appears to be no spinal or brain injuries!! Hayley still has a very long road ahead of her, she has many broken bones, arms, legs, pelvis, as well as other internal organs that are going to take a very long time to heal and require numerous surgeries. She had surgery yesterday, a very lengthy one to repair her broken pelvis. Pray for continued miraculous healing and successful surgeries with stable recovery.
(Original Request June 5)
Dave Lomakoski's friend’s daughter, Hayley, was in a serious motorcycle accident yesterday. Hailey is in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. Please pray for Hailey and her parents.

Thank you for keeping Stacy and our family in your prayers. It seems each week she faces health issues. Our fight will be our new normal. It is powerful to know we are not alone in prayer.

Our basement flooded from Thursday night's storms. We are going through the restoration process now, and it's been a big adjustment for our family. Additionally, it looks like our insurance is only going to be enough to cover the restoration, not the repairs. We need prayer to help my wife, our kids, and I to get through these adjustments, as well as to trust in God that we will find a way to afford the repairs costs out of pocket.
Tarah Sproul
Update May 20
Tarah is now receiving hospice care. Pray for lack of pain, for God's presence and comfort during this time as she faces each new day..

My brother Rick, after esophageal cancer treatment now has a mass in his liver suspected to be similar and has a biopsy scheduled next week. Please pray for Rick as he also suffers from severe depression and anxiety. Pray for his peace and submission to God's will.

Sarah Jantzen
June 22
Big prayer request. Sarah is hoping to be in the U.S. the last week of July along with Moses and Ken but the Ebola issue is causing Visa Issue for Ken which is the main reason for coming so he can attend Hillsdale College in the Fall. Please pray that the restrictions would be removed so travel can happen before the end of July.
