Pray With Us

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:6–7

Billy & Erica Tjernlund

Central Missionary Clearinghouse

Billy and his wife are raising their three children—Evaleigh, Sevland, and Westley—while serving the people of Alaska with a heart for the Gospel. Their calling is to see churches planted for and by Alaska Native people, bringing lasting, locally led Gospel presence to communities that have long been unreached.

Today, nearly 80% of Alaska’s more than 200 villages have no Gospel witness, many of them accessible only by air. To help meet this need, Billy serves through aviation and ministry leadership across the state. He pilots two airplanes to provide essential flights for multiple ministries, serves on the Board of Directors for Kokrine Hills Bible Camp, and acts as an aviation advisor for Soaring For Christ. He also teaches and preaches in local churches and hosts the Tell Your Story Alaska podcast, highlighting how God is at work in remote communities.

As part of this mission, Billy is launching Ends of the Earth Aviation LLC, a business platform designed to support and sustain Gospel ministry to Alaska’s most isolated villages—helping take the hope of Christ to the ends of the earth.

Today's New or Time-Sensitive Update

Praying for the Peace Church body

Peace Church Praying Community, here is a new section, to be praying for the whole church community where we will focus on one key aspect of who God has called us to be as a church. This week we want to remind you of:

Kingdom Minded

As a new school year begins, classrooms, teams, activities, and routines will once again shape the lives of the next generation. As a Kingdom Minded church, we recognize that investing in children and students is an investment in the future of God’s Kingdom. Pray this week for the teachers, coaches, volunteers, parents, grandparents, and others who have the opportunity to influence young lives. Pray for wisdom and patience, for meaningful conversations, and for opportunities to point students toward Jesus. Ask God to help each of us consider how we can encourage and invest in the next generation, trusting that the seeds of faith planted today can have Kingdom impact for generations to come.
