Pray With Us
And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. 1 John 5:14

Kyle & Ryann Combrink
Overland Missions
Kyle and Ryann Combrink serve as missionaries with Overland Missions in Zambia, Africa. Kyle plays a crucial role in managing the logistical operations at our main base in Zambia, facilitating the deployment of hundreds of missionaries each year to remote villages across Zambia. His responsibilities include driving expedition teams in Overland’s robust ex-military trucks and advising the sustainable agriculture initiatives which focuses on creating sustainable income for local ministry partners through livestock and agricultural efforts.
Ryann holds the position of Director of Administration at Overland Missions. Leading a global administrative team, she oversees the logistical movements of over 400 missionaries spanning 22+ nations. Her primary focus is keeping the organization running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring missionaries have the resources, paperwork, visas, finances, and support they need to bring the Gospel to the most remote and unreached people groups around the world. Additionally, she coordinates key events in the US, including the annual conference held in Florida each year.

Praying for the Peace Church body
Peace Church Praying Community, here is a new section, to be praying for the whole church community where we will focus on one key aspect of who God has called us to be as a church. This week we want to remind you of:
How can you summarize Gospel Centered, Kingdom Minded, and Family Focused?
How about High School Mission Trip?!
Our Peace Church Youth and their adult leaders are in Alaska right now doing missions. We are trusting that the Kingdom will be expanded from their participation in what God is doing in rural Alaska. Join us prayer for the hearts of each person on the trip, for God to sustain them as they do physical acts of service while sharing the Gospel, that the Holy Spirit would work in their hearts for unity and to have a Kingdom mindset as they serve on a team. That God would speak to them through their daily devotional time as they are grown spiritually. Also please pray for safe travel, and good health.

About three weeks ago a friend’s daughter, Hayley Frederick, was involved in a horrific motorcycle accident. Many health care professionals did not think she would survive. Although Hayley has undergone numerous surgeries to repair internal injuries, broken vertebrae, compound fractures, shattered pelvis, etc, Hayley has been improving miraculously. It looks like she is still on a long road to recovery, but in speaking with her father, Pat, he is certain God has answered our prayers.
Darlene and Ernie DeGroote
June 18
We want to thank everyone who held our sweet 7 yr old great granddaughter, Hadley in your prayers yesterday. The Lord answered those prayers and everything is repaired. It was much worse than they had anticipated as she had two holes in her heart that were repaired, instead of one, and they said there was a 95% chance that she would’ve had a heart attack or a stroke. All praise to our powerful God who loves and cares and answers. Prayers. Sincerely, Darlene and Ernie DeGroote.
Physical needs
Renee Seeley
Update July 9
Doing better, one more round of IV antibiotics and improvement of her breathing and no fever and she'll be able to go home. Hoping to go home tomorrow.
(Original Request July 7)
From her husband Tim: I'm at the ER with Renee. She was here on Sunday when she was diagnosed with pneumonia. It hasn't really improved since we went home, so we're back up here. They said they are going to admit her. So keep her in your prayers.

July 2
Please be praying for our son, Mason Diehl (18), who is having open heart surgery on July 28th to fix his bicuspid aortic valve. They will replace his aortic valve with his pulmonary valve and replace his pulmonary valve with a donor valve. This is a major surgery that we were not expecting for him to have to go through until much later in his life. But after scans in November revealed that his heart is not functioning as they would like they decided that now is better than later. Please be praying for Mason as he goes to Alaska next week with Peace. Pray that the Lord will calm his mind and that surgery will leave the forefront of his mind and he will be able to focus on why he is there and he can really enjoy serving. Pray for the Lord to work in his heart, draw him closer to Himself, and reveal Himself to Mason in new ways while he serves in Alaska. Please be praying for our family mentally and emotionally as we have been and are continuing to try and process all of this. It is a lot to take in. I know that we serve a good God and He is in control, but the human in me is struggling. Even in this God is good and does good!

Our basement flooded from Thursday night's storms. We are going through the restoration process now, and it's been a big adjustment for our family. Additionally, it looks like our insurance is only going to be enough to cover the restoration, not the repairs. We need prayer to help my wife, our kids, and I to get through these adjustments, as well as to trust in God that we will find a way to afford the repairs costs out of pocket.
Tarah Sproul
Update May 20
Tarah is now receiving hospice care. Pray for lack of pain, for God's presence and comfort during this time as she faces each new day..

Peace Church Youth
July 4-12
Our High School Alaska Mission Team who is currently serving in Alaska. Please pray for continued energy and endurance. Our days have been full of physical work, hiking, and meaningful conversations, and everyone is feeling the healthy exhaustion that comes with serving well. Pray that evening campfire discussions on encouragement would strengthen our team and help us continue pointing one another toward Christ. Pray that God would continue using our students to be a blessing to the people and ministries we are serving throughout the week.
Sarah Jantzen
July 1
Pray for the Lord’s favor and provision for our missionary Sarah Jantzen to be able to travel to the US. This is a big prayer request for Sarah and two of her sons, Moses and Ken, who are hoping to be in the US the last week of July. Sarah also has plans to visit Peace for an in person update August 23rd.
As they will be traveling from Uganda, the Ebola issue is causing Visa problems for Ken, which is the main reason for coming so he can attend Hillsdale College in the Fall. Please pray that the restrictions would be removed so they can travel and that God would grant them favor with the right people so his visa can be approved before the end of July as there is only a short window for this process.
