"Your Will" – God's Decrees and Desires
God's will includes His sovereign decrees (what He ordains) and His revealed desires (how He wants us to live). How do these two aspects help us better understand how to pray "Your will be done"?
Read Deuteronomy 29:29.This verse speaks of the "secret things" belonging to God and the "revealed things" being for us to obey. How should this shape our trust and obedience?
Read Romans 12:2.
Paul urges us to be transformed so we can discern God's will. How can spiritual renewal help us better understand and do God's will?
Read Luke 22:42.In Gethsemane, Jesus prayed, "Not my will, but yours be done." What does His example teach us about surrender, especially in times of suffering or confusion?

How does praying "Your will be done" shape how we make daily decisions? What might it mean to trust God with outcomes even when we don’t see immediate results?
Application
This week, identify one area of your life where you struggle to surrender to God's will. Each day, pray specifically that God's will would be done in that area—even if it’s hard.
Take time to read Scripture daily and reflect on what God has revealed as His will for how you live—in your relationships, work, or thought life.
Talk with someone in your group about a current decision or situation where you want to obey God's will. Ask them to pray with you and encourage you.
Closing
When you say, "Your will be done," are you offering God control or asking Him to bless your plans? What needs to change in your heart to truly pray this line with faith and surrender?
Where might God be calling you to greater trust, greater obedience, or deeper surrender today?
