Sophia joined the Peace Church staff in October 2025 and has been attending Peace for four years. Originally from Middleville, Michigan, Sophia comes from a big family with nine siblings and was adopted from Hunan, China at eight months old. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends—whether that’s grabbing coffee, thrifting, or going for walks—and loves expressing her creativity through painting and drawing, especially with oil paints. When the weather’s nice, you can often find her playing tennis with her family. Her favorite Bible verse is Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
