Mark’s Gospel moves fast because the stakes are massive. Jesus steps onto the scene and the Kingdom draws near. Crowds gather. Conflict rises. The cross comes.
However, the story doesn’t end in a grave. Easter is the moment with the single greatest magnitude in all of history. The Resurrection shakes the foundation of all creation and rewrites what we thought was possible.
That means hope isn’t wishful thinking. It’s anchored in a living Savior and it sends us into the world with purpose, because the risen Jesus still gives His people a mission.
