How should God’s hatred of evil affect the way we view sin in our own lives?

What contrasts are drawn between the wicked and the righteous in this psalm?

David approaches God "through the abundance of your steadfast love” in verse seven. What does this reveal about how we can come before a holy and just God in worship?
