While their loved one enjoys Night to Shine, they’re invited to relax and enjoy a special evening designed just for them. Guest Registration Do I need a 1:1 buddy? Yes. Per Tim Tebow Night to Shine guidelines, every guest will be paired with a 1:1 buddy for the evening. What food will be available? Dinner will be buffet-style, with gluten-free and dairy-free options provided. What should I wear? It’s a prom celebration—feel free to dress up in something fun and special! What does the evening look like? Doors open at 6:00 PM with a red carpet entrance and photo opportunity. After you’re paired with your buddy, you’ll enjoy the night your way—choose from the sensory room, karaoke, photo booth, games/art, or the Shine Room. Is there a capacity limit? No! We welcome everyone and will accept walk-ins. Can I choose my own buddy? Yes. If you already have someone in mind, list their name on your registration form and share the buddy registration link with them. All buddies must complete a background check. Honored Guest FAQs Do I need to stay on site? No, you do not need to stay. However, we encourage you to return at 8:00 PM for the crowning ceremony and last dance. You are also welcome to walk the red carpet with your guest, ensure they are paired with their buddy, and then leave if you prefer. If I stay, what will I do? After walking the red carpet and taking a photo with your guest, you’ll be escorted to our Room of Champions. There you can enjoy a nice dinner, create a craft, connect with other parents and caregivers, relax in a quiet space, or spend time in prayer with a pastor. At 8:00 PM, all parents and caregivers will be invited back upstairs to reunite with their guest for the crowning ceremony and final dance. Join us in showing love, support, and joy to each honored guest. Volunteer Registration What should I wear? Since it’s prom night, we encourage you to dress up as if you’re going to prom! If you’d rather wear something more casual and comfortable, that’s completely fine too. How long is my shift? You’ll sign up for a 1-hour shift (6:00–7:00 PM or 7:00–8:00 PM). At 8:00 PM, all guests and volunteers are invited to gather in the lobby for the crowning ceremony and last dance. Will food be provided? Yes! Volunteers are welcome to eat in the Guest Dinner area (gym). What does the evening look like? Doors open at 6:00 PM for the red carpet entrance. Once guests are paired with their buddies, they’ll enjoy dinner and all the activities at their own pace in an “open house” style format. Breakout Room Volunteer FAQs What is my role? Commissioned by Elector Frederick III of the Palatinate, it was written in Heidelberg, Germany, to provide a clear, biblical, and pastoral guide for teaching the Christian faith. Traditionally attributed to Zacharias Ursinus as the primary writer, with Caspar Olevianus playing a smaller role, the catechism was designed for young people, church preaching, and confessional unity among Protestants. Organized into 52 Lord’s Days for weekly study, it follows three key themes: guilt (our sin and need for salvation), grace (God’s redemption through Christ), and gratitude (our response to His grace). This simple yet profound structure makes it a valuable tool for both new and mature believers. The Synod of Dort (1619) formally approved the catechism, and it has since been translated worldwide, shaping the faith of countless Christians.
